Parsun is a US and international brand of outboards motors, generators, pumps, and engines, co-designed with expertise of our US and Japanese partners. Suzhou Parsun Power Machine Co., Ltd. was founded in 2001 in Suzhou, China. Our core technology team’s collective experience dates back to 1968, including working with OMC (the original manufacturer of Johnson and Evinrude) in the development of integral components for high-power outboard engines in the late 1990’s. Our US partner, Elco Motor Yachts, LLC located in New York, manages the design, technology and patents for our electric outboard products and accessories, as well as the global outsourcing of key parts and materials.
FOR THOSE WHO KNOW A GOOD TIME—WHEN THEY DRIVE IT. You’re here to wake up the water. Count on Yamaha’s reliable In-Line four strokes to power the fun. Our in-line four-cylinder designs and electronic fuel injection make these babies strong, nimble, compact and light weight. In other words, they’re up for anything, making them the perfect power for cruising, skiing and sport fishing on flats, decks and offshore boats, and pontoons or deep-V hulls. We’ve even freshened up the best-selling 150-horsepower four-stroke outboard by refining the cowling drainage and adding a tough 8-tooth “dog clutch” to make this dependable workhouse even more reliable.
Mercury’s proven TwoStroke engines deliver starting, gutsy performance, and great all-round reliability. Across the range you’ll find an array of features that help keep your boating experiences more enjoyable and trouble-free. Features such as largest engine capacity displacement, giving you more low-end thrust, advanced carburettor design and fully-regulated, high output alternators powering all your marine electronics will ensure absolute boating excellence.
“We have put a lot of work into this new outboard and we cannot wait to see how the market responds. We have watched with great interest as boats have gotten bigger, especially the center console market,” said Yasuharu Osawa, Executive General Manager, Global Marine & Power Products Operation, Suzuki Motor Corporation. “Not only that, but we’ve seen an increasing preference for outboards on all kinds of boats that used to be exclusively stern drive or inboard. The time is ripe for this new outboard, and we think you’re going to love it.”
